Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ)

The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ) is a non-profit organization with a mission to improve the economic welfare and quality of life of Nova Scotia’s Acadians and francophones through leadership in economic development.

As host organization, CDÉNÉ is proud to support innovation and the dynamic spirit of Nova Scotia communities. It is dedicated to disseminating sound practices in community economic development to make prosperity the watchword in our communities.

CDÉNÉ is involved in developing communities through government support. It ensures that government priorities, all activities and the outcomes achieved are consistent with the principles related to sustainable economic development. It intervenes in all facets of the economic life of Acadians and francophones: business start-up and expansion, development of entrepreneurship among young people, employability, community economic development, business consulting, occupational training, francophone economic immigration, tourism, etc.

CDÉNÉ’s mission is to assist Acadian and francophone regions in achieving their full economic potential.
